Haven’t seen much from Zoe Bell since Tarantino’s Deathproof and to be honest haven’t really thought much about her. She didn’t really give me much reason to. I am a firm believer that Tarantino can drag a great performance out of any actor ( Or in this case stunt-woman). Case in point Jaime Fox in Django Unchained (I don’t give a shit about his Oscar I can’t stand the guy!) . Any who Bell is taking another crack at the horror genre in Josh Waller’s RAZE. The trailer (below) shows a group of hot ladies beating the holy hell out of each other. Could be fun and might give us a reason to remember Bell for something other than being Tarantino’s friend. IFC Midnight will release RAZE on January 10th, 2014. As with most of IFC Midnight’s releases I’m guessing this one will be VOD with limited theatrical to follow.
PLOT: When Sabrina is mysteriously abducted, she finds herself in an underground lair, forced to do battle with other innocents for the amusement of unseen spectators. Each of these reluctant warriors has something to lose, but only one will remain when the game is done. Violent and relentless, Raze takes its video game aesthetic to the deepest and darkest places, rarely surfacing for air.
