I know Vin Diesel is mostly a name that can turn a film nerds nose, but I totally dig the Riddick movies. Pitch Black was a hell of a good time and even Chronicles of Riddick was a cool flick. It kinda ran away with its self and I ( even after multiple viewings) still don’t fully understand what was going on. They needed to just stick with Riddick fighting space monsters. Simple, violent and fun. So when I sat my doughy ass down and finally checked out the trailer to the third installment, I was more than happy with what I saw. Sticking with the title Riddick was a great choice. That awful subtitle they had before, Deadman Stalking, was a bit of a joke. Check out the trailer below and Riddick hits the big screen this fall.
PLOT: Left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, Riddick finds himself up against an alien race of predators. Activating an emergency beacon alerts two ships: one carrying a new breed of mercenary, the other captained by a man from Riddick’s past.
