Like many of us that were teenagers in 1996, Wes Craven’s SCREAM not only thrilled us in the theaters during that years Christmas break, but we help many of us fall in love with the horror genre all over again.
Too many years and three sequels later the series feels as cheap as the Ghostface killer masks for sale during Halloween. I must be in the minority ’cause the folks that thought up Teen Mom are rebooting the franchise this time as a TV show for that beacon of entertainment MTV. Oh, and speaking of the iconic Ghostface, he’s not in it—MTV couldn’t hash out the licensing. Who knew Ghostface had standards.
