Michael Jai White (Spawn, Black Dynamite, Arrow, The Dark Knight) is one bad mother. I dig watching this guy mix it up with baddies, so when I got my mitts on the this trailer, I received more than a few flip kicks and roundhouses to my cerebral cortex.
This trailer is super promising. Crazy bad guys, shady friends, and a certified wrecking machine hell bent on revenge. Bring it!
I’ll have a full review, and maybe a little more for ya’ next week. Until then I hope this holds you over.

The Rundown: FALCON RISING – The first installment of our new CODENAME FALCON action franchise. The franchise will revolve around former marine John “Falcon” Chapman, a dark anti-hero driven by guilt, who will destroy himself unless given something else to destroy – a useful weapon-of-last-resort for the foreign ministry. The first movie sees Chapman traveling to Brazil to hunt down his sister’s brutal attackers, in the process discovering an underground world of drugs, prostitution, and police corruption ruled by the Japanese mafia. Directed by Ernie Barbarash and starring Michael Jai White as Chapman, the franchise will produce 1-2 movies a year following Chapman as he is sent to exotic locations to do the foreign ministry’s dirty work.
