First isn’t Friday the 13th, just awesome? Whose watching a Jason marathon later? I know this guy is.
Ok, now the trailer…
I think as a horror film fan, until further notice, if Jason Blum produces a film it should be on your radar. Now some are better than others obviously, but he’s consistently the one guy major player out in Hollywood devoted to the genre. For this he gets a “hail, hail” from us.
Personally, from the trailer, Incarnate looks like Inception plus [insert any exorcism film in the last 15 years here]. I do enjoy Aaron Eckhart. Other than that turd Frankenstein, I can’t recall a film I didn’t like him in. Still say Thank-You For Smoking is greatly under appreciated. Speaking of Eckhart, this another thing Blum does so well…bring top talent into a genre that is still taboo for many actors.
Incarnate is directed by San Andreas handler Brad Petyon. Ok, so the whole film was a bit ridiculous and the plot felt lifted from Syfy, but the Rock punching is way out of a earthquake…can’t tell me that’s not fun.
Anyways, Incarnate hit theaters Sept. 30th.
