2014 has been damn slow on the horror remakes and I’m not comfortable with that. Literally, I am in a state of discomfort due to Hollywood taking all my constant bitching and whining to heart. You think I would be over joyed to this lack of remakes and reboots, but now what do I got to bitch about? Politics? Jesus, I’d rather stick to bitching about something that people actually care about (HEY OH!). I’ve never been a big fan of the original Town That Dreaded Sundown (saw it a few years back and dug it, but it never sunk in), but something tells me if anyone is going to ignite my love in this movie it’s the guy behind Glee and The Carrie Diaries…. Oh Yeah! Getting real comfortable again… Joking aside, Alfonso looks like he’s got a half decent slasher going. Check out the trailer below and I’m gonna go work on my Glee jokes for the podcast!
PLOT: 65 years after a masked serial killer terrorized the small town of Texarkana, the so-called ‘moonlight murders’ begin again. Is it a copycat or something even more sinister? A lonely high school girl, with dark secrets of her own, may be the key to catching him.-IMDB
