I’m sure you remember what it was like to be a child afraid of the things in the dark. A monster under your bed or in the closet. Even something lurking outside coming through your window or your bedroom door. If you haven’t noticed I had a very vivid imagination as a child, the draw back was I spent most of it terrified of the things that go bump in the night. Hell I still get scared at night, I even slept with a goalie stick all four years I was in high school. Yes, I have a very elaborate name for the instrument I pleasure myself with, and it gives going five hole a totally different meaning. The Babadook brings all these memories and feelings back…and that’s just from the fucking trailer!!! Rotten Tomatoes has it at 100% fresh, and I can’t wait to see what the hype is about. I haven’t been this excited for something since McDonalds brought back the McRib, damn that restraining order I say!!! Using bbq sauce as lubricant changes a man…. I’m adding this to Jake Watch 2014, see you at the theatre you bring the bbq sauce. The Babadook hits theatres Nov. 28th.
