Teaser Trailer For Adam Wingard’s The Guest

Wingard and Barrett rocked my shit in theaters last summer with You’re Next. The writing/directing duo had firmly cemented themselves as film makers I give a shit about. A list, that as of late, is ever-growing. Early this year reports were coming out of Sundance (where The Guest screened) that director Adam Wingard had made his best film to date, but reviews were also saying the less you know about The Guest the better. Well it seems that the teaser would agree and we don’t get much.I will say just by the teaser we don’t get much (really any) horror elements. What I know about Wingard and Barrett is we can expect this to be a wild ride. They have yet to let me down. Picture House is releasing The Guest this September in theaters. Synopsis: A soldier (Dan Stevens) introduces himself to the Peterson family, claiming to be a friend of their son who died in action. After the young man is welcomed into their home, a series of accidental deaths seem to be connected to his presence.
