SJP Giveaway: Passes For Bad Santa 2 (Metro-Detroit)

In Coming Soon, Movies by Bub Smith3 Comments

When it comes to Christmas movies one of the all time best is Bad Santa. Billy Bob Thorton playing alcoholic mall Santa Claus, who is really a low level thief is just comedy gold! I know I’m not alone on this one and if you frequent SJP odds are pretty good that Bad Santa is a staple in your household come the holidays. Also pretty safe to assume you know about (and are damn excited for) Bad Santa 2. The movie looks just as messed up as the first one and man I can’t wait. If you share this sentiment and really CAN’T wait until Nov 23rd to see the flick, then I got an early X-mas present for you. SJP partnered up with Allied Mi to get you early passes to see Bad Santa 2 on Monday, November 21st at MJR Troy at 7PM. As if seeing the movie early and for free wasn’t enough, the good folks at Allied are doing a Bad Santa costume contest. Come dressed as your best “Bad Santa” for a chance to win Bad Santa 2 prizes! One hell of a fun night! Click the link below to snag some tickets and remember this is first come first served. So once the tickets are gone, that’s it! Happy Holidays!

BAD SANTA 2 returns Academy Award®-winner Billy Bob Thornton to the screen as America’s favorite anti-hero, Willie Soke. Fueled by cheap whiskey, greed and hatred, Willie teams up once again with his angry little sidekick, Marcus (Tony Cox), to knock off a Chicago charity on Christmas Eve. Along for the ride is ‘the kid’ – chubby and cheery Thurman Merman (Brett Kelly), a 250-pound ray of sunshine who brings out Willie’s sliver of humanity. Mommy issues arise when the pair are joined by Academy Award®, Golden Globe and Emmy-winner Kathy Bates, as Willie’s horror story of a mother, Sunny Soke. A super butch super bitch, Sunny raises the bar for the gang’s ambitions, while somehow lowering the standards of criminal behavior. Willie is further burdened by lusting after the curvaceous and prim Diane, played by Emmy Award-nominee Christina Hendricks, the charity director with a heart of gold and libido of steel. You better watch out: BAD SANTA 2 is coming to town. Directed by Mark Waters. (Broad Green Pictures) Rated R.
