We’ve seen the creepy poster and teaser trailer for James Wan’s ‘The Conjuring’, but today we have the official trailer! Vera Farmiga, who’s been completely owning Norma Bates in ‘Bates Motel’, and Patrick Wilson star as the real-life demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren in a good old-fashioned haunted house flick. I am very much digging the old school vibe this one’s got. It was also recently announced that despite their best efforts, the film couldn’t muster up a PG-13 rating. The film got handed an R rating not because of any gore or language, but because it’s just too scary. Great news in my book! The Conjuring hits theaters everywhere July 19.
PLOT: Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, “The Conjuring” tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
