During a shareholders meeting, WB CEO Kevin Tsujihara announced the plans for the DC films schedule over the next 6 years. On the list is well known, and inevitable, films like Suicide Squad, Justice League 1 and 2, Aquaman, and a Shazam movie. Surprisingly on the list are also films for The Flash, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, and a possible (hopefully) reboot of Green Lantern.
Not only did they release news on the films, but they also released some casting tidbits, like the fact that Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) WILL IN FACT be Aquaman, actor Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) will star in The Flash, and four A-List actors are in talks for the Suicide Squad film. The Justice League film, by director Zack Snyder, will be broken in to two parts, part one in 2017 and part two in 2019.
Also on the list are the film adaptations for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, by Harry Potter writer J.K. Rowling and a few different Lego Movies. One of which is a Batman Lego Movie, which I’m sure will feature Will Arnett reprising his role as Batman from this year’s The Lego Movie.
The folks at WB also state that they’re working on Superman and Batman stand-alone films which will be announced in the future.
