If you were to collect a Mount Rushmore for genre films, it would be unanimously accepted that George A. Romero’s face would grace the monument.  A true genius  and pioneer of indie film making, George will be remember for his classics such as Night of the Living Dead, The Crazies, Dawn of the Dead and more. His influence can be felt into every facet of modern pop culture.

George passed away July 16 after a short battle with lung cancer. Our condolences go out to the Romero family. More information can be found via George’s official Facebook page.
